Distance Education provides Blackboard certification training for all Campbell University faculty members teaching online and blended courses. Other training courses are availble.
Basic Blackboard Training
Basic Blackboard Training is an online course that will familiarize you with the basics tools of our course management system. In this course you will learn how to add content and organize it in Blackboard. Basic Blackboard Training is required for ALL instructors who wish to teach a blended or online course for Campbell University.
Instructors must be trained and certified before being scheduled to teach an online or blended course.
The online course is self-paced; therefor, faculty and staff can sign up at anytime. 'Hands-on' training is available by appointment and can be scheduled for individuals or groups through the Distance Education Department.
The Intermediate Blackboard and Advanced Blackboard Training courses will help instructors design courses and show how to integrate software and web-based tools into Blackboard. These courses will be offered in the Fall.
Mini-courses, such as ADA: Meeting Accessibility In Class and Online are also available through the Distance Education Department.
